When an open board is too open

Ask specific questions, route the answers to the right board, and keep the respondent attached to the post that results — so you can still close the loop.

The problem

“Any other feedback?” gets you nothing

An open text box at the end of a flow produces either silence or a sentence you cannot act on. The people with the most useful thing to say are the ones least likely to compose a paragraph unprompted.

A specific question — asked at the moment the answer is fresh — gets a specific answer.

What you get

Everything in forms & surveys

Structured questions

Choice, scale, and free text. Ask what you actually need to know rather than hoping it appears in a comment.

Routed to a board

Answers land as posts on the board you choose, so they join the same vote-and-status flow as everything else.

The respondent stays attached

Whoever answered is linked to the resulting post, which means they get told when it ships. A survey you cannot follow up on is a survey you should not have run.

Ask in context

Trigger a form from the screen the question is about. Context is most of the value, and it evaporates within a minute.

Keep it short

Two questions answered beats ten abandoned. The forms are built to be short on purpose.

Same reporting

Responses are posts. They vote, tag, filter, and report like everything else on the board.
